RECREATION DESIGN GALLERY

Design for Recreation provides a unique opportunity to craft places that recreate and regenerate our hearts, souls and attitudes – connected primarily with physical activity and expression. These places can include both passive and active play. The study of play can be fascinating – a child might be as much engaged and excited by playing in an empty cardboard appliance box, as with the latest example of play equipment.

In our work we create spaces for play and sports activity that respect the shape of the land and every user of the place including coaches, players, family and the one who cuts the grass. The variety, beauty and order of some of these places are represented in the accompanying images.
